Why digg anymore

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Even though Digg is one of the most advaced news content management system. To me it is more like a Glorified Bulletin board. It is forum of like minded people “so called alleged Diggers”. It has more similarities with a Forum or bulletin board that is why it has repeat customers who want to discuss. I myself when I need a laugh I do see the comment section of the digg to entertain me. The initial hype of news democracy is nowhere to be found. The Digged stories are more selective and less mature digg discussion. I am sorry to say Diggs community collective IQ is gradually diminishing, worring isn’t it. As another bloggers point out Many people start to submit to digg only to get indexed quickly and to have extra follow link to your website or article.

Quick Online tips

This tech blog seem to be containing impressive amount of information mostly useful to novice web masters. Very good web design and well written posts. There are around 11K+ feedburner subscriptions, which seem to suggest fairly large readership. But there is no name of the Article writer. I doesn’t say which platform it uses, Although I suspect it could be Wordpress. Its Alexa ranking on 02/09/79 is 16,653. I has impressive pagerank of 6. This site is good for advertising but I don’t see any ads in the site. Link
