PointsCalc is not affiliated Weight Watchers and isn’t a substitution for the more accurate and robust tools they provide. In a pinch, however, we hope it will help dedicated dieters to select healthy foods that support their weight loss goals.

Dimebon from Medivation Inc showed some promise in treatment of Alzheimers disease. The results of the research showed that it improves cognition, memory and ADLs (activities of daily life). The effects of the drug seem to last for 18 months as per research.
Recent research shows that a drug called Rember being developed by company TauRX produced significant changes in out come of patients with moderate Alzheimer’s Disease. It improved thinking and memory in people affected by this disorder. Mode of action is by attacking tau protein in the Brain. Current studies are only phase 2, so this drug requires further research before it is released in to market.
