I have been informed by Scimob about e-Anatomy application which is based on IMAIOS online anatomy atlas. It is currently available to by via iTunes store. I have got an promo code from developers so I will be able to review it.

e-Anatomy for iPhone and iPod touch is an innovative mobile application. It allows you to discover the human body with many details. This anatomy atlas delivers 4,000+ images (diagrams and medical images) with 6,500+ labeled anatomical structures.
Features:

  • Scroll through images with the flick of a finger
  • Pinch to zoom in and out
  • Tap to display anatomy labels
  • Toggle anatomy labels on and off by category
  • Locate any structure identified in a module using the search indexer
  • Auto-screen rotation

e-Anatomy In App contains 2 anatomy modules:

  • Axial MRI brain anatomy: 144 images, 160 anatomical structures
  • Illustrations of cranial nerve anatomy: 15 images, 280 anatomical structures

22 other anatomy modules are available (in demo mode) and enabled after purchase of In App packages:

  • Head and Neck (6 modules, 1 300 images, 2 300 anatomy labels)
  • Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis (7 modules, 1 025 images, 1 100 anatomy labels)
  • Musculoskeletal (9 modules, 1 800 images, 3 200 anatomy labels)

This application has been developed by Scimob, a mobile software development company, which has already released the Akinator iPhone application.
