Industrial development in Telangana, Rayalaseema, Costal Andhra: Special Economy Zones

Speical Economy Zones in India are created to stimulate industrial, service and manufacturing growth. The concept is based on sucess that china achived by creating speical economy zones where there are tax incentives to stimulate export based industry.There are around 103 special economy zones in Andhra Pradesh. There is quite disparity in special economy zones development in AP. Telangana including Hyderabad had higher share compared to rest of Andhra Pradesh.

Based on Region there are sixty eight (68) special economy zones in Telangana, seven (7) special economy zones in Rayalaseema, and twenty eight (28) special economy zones in Costal Andhra. This number is based on publication at SEZIndia.nic.in accessible via link.

Indian inflation turns negative

BBC news reports that Indian inflation fallen to minus 1.61% at June 6.

Inflation in India has turned negative for the first time in more than 30 years, official figures have shown.

Wholesale prices fell 1.61% in the year to 6 June, compared with a rise of 0.13% the previous week, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said.

Medical teams could be rewarded with bonuses for successful operations under a plan being considered by the UK’s largest hospital trust.

The Imperial College Healthcare Trust in London said it is to launch a pilot scheme aimed at “rewarding excellence” with better resources and research.

The Department of Health says it wants to strengthen a scheme which rewards surgeons for high performance.

Failing NHS(UK) Hospitals to be handed over to private management

Is this move to trying to discipline the failing managers, or is it wider conspiracy where NHS is gradually privatised bit by bit so that at governments doesn’t feel the wrath of public anger at once.

Poor managers are to be sacked without receiving large payouts and replaced by staff from profit-making companies who would be paid with public money.
The NHS will retain ownership of hospital buildings and services but the private firm will “take over” the day to day running of the hospital….

….The private firms Virgin, Bupa, Nuffield, Boots, Sainsbury’s and Ramsay Health are already providing NHS services or have expressed an interest in doing so….
